Monumetron - Comic 01

Twenty years ago, a friend who, unfortunately, is no longer with us, joked about my need to always draw science fiction.

He said something like this, referring to me: "No! If you make him draw that, he'll definitely add spaceships and robots! If you make him draw something of Rosario, our city, he'll definitely take the Monument to the Argentine Flag and add a robot."

That idea, which was like a sentence, has stayed with me ever since, and over the years it has forced me to think, research, design, and plan what I'm finally showing you.

There's nothing more invasive than an idea, right?

I present to you the Monumetron...

Hace 20 años, un amigo que, por desgracia, ya no está, bromeó sobre mi necesidad de dibujar siempre cosas de ciencia ficción.

Dijo algo así, refiriendose a mi: "¡Nooo! ¡Si le das que dibuje eso, seguro que le meterá naves espaciales y robots! Si le haces dibujar algo de Rosario, nuestra ciudad, seguro que agarra el Monumento a la Bandera Argentina y le mete un robot".

Esa idea, que era como una sentencia, me ha acompañado desde entonces y a lo largo de estos años me ha obligado a pensar, buscar, diseñar y planificar lo que por fin les muestro.

No hay nada más invasivo que una idea, ¿verdad?
